Phoenix Veterans Day Parade

Giving back to the community is a part of what guides our organization.  Paula Pedene is a disabled Navy Veteran and has been active in the Veterans community since 1994.  Since 1997, Paula Pedene has been coordinating the Phoenix Veterans Day Parade. Denoted as one of the best organized community outreach events, Paula Pedene & Associates supports Honoring Arizona’s Veterans in coordinating  this event that recognizes our Veterans each year on their special day. Many veterans appreciate what this event does to help them heal as we see in this beautiful testimony from Korean War Veteran Peter Haas.

The Parade is presented by Honoring Arizona’s Veterans a 501c3 founded in 2011 by retired Maricopa County Attorney Rick Romley and Paula Pedene.  Since then HAV garners the funds necessary to put on this spectacular event each year.  You can see photos  at

In addition there are numerous additional events surrounding the parade, coordinated by Paula and a wonderful team of volunteers who take pride in honoring our veterans.  These include:

  • Parade Grand Marshals—Honor Our Heroes Selection Program
  • Parade Essay Competition, supported by Durant’s Restaurant
  • Parade Grand Marshal Display supported by APS
  • Parade Victory Party supported by the University of Phoenix and Salt River Project
